Biden spotted in public for first time since dropping out of race

President Joe Biden was seen for the first time since his COVID-19 diagnosis and the first time since stepping down as the Democratic candidate for 2024.

He was seen emerging from a vehicle in Dover, Delaware, and walking to Air Force One, bound for Washington, D.C. He smiled and gave a thumbs-up to reporters but didn’t take any questions.

Biden hadn’t been seen for a week, raising concerns. He did call in to a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday, offering words of support for her campaign.
