Jets scramble to confront civilian planes in Mar-a-Lago’s restricted airspace

The North American Aerospace Defense Command was forced to send out jets Saturday when three civilian planes flew over Mar-a-Lago in the space of two hours.

Ever since President Donald Trump took office, there is a temporary flight restriction over his resort in Palm Beach, Florida whenever he visits. This restricted airspace includes a 10 nautical mile (nm) inner core and 30 nautical mile outer core. This can often conflict with flight patterns in and out of Palm Beach International Airport.
