Canada and Mexico slap retaliatory tariffs on US

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced 25% retaliatory tariffs on the United States as the drama around President Donald Trump’s tariffs has boosted Trudeau’s drowning Liberal Party.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum also announced Mexico would be imposing retaliatory tariffs but did not provide details about how severe the tariffs would be or what products they would affect. Those details are expected on Sunday.
