Pakistan appears to have broken a ceasefire with India mere hours after U.S. officials announced the two countries had agreed to one.
Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, where the fighting is taking place, said he heard explosions in the area. He also posted a video of the city with blasts being heard in the background and wrote, “This is no ceasefire. The air defence units in the middle of Srinagar just opened up.”
