President Joe Biden may still be enjoying a 53%-46% net approval rating, but on every issue but the coronavirus, most disapprove of his handling of the job, according to the latest Fox News poll.
Biden is 22 points underwater on immigration (35%-57%), 12 points underwater on crime (39%-51%), and two points underwater on the economy (47%-49%).
Voters do still approve of Biden on COVID by a 54%-42% margin.
Inflation seems to be voters’ biggest complaint about the Biden economy. Asked which issues they were concerned about, 86% said inflation, which was voters’ top concern in the poll edging out “political divisions in the country” at 83% and “violent crime” at 81%.
One wonders if passing another $3.5 trillion spending bill is really what an administration wants to do when voters just started disapproving of their handling of the economy, and inflation is their top policy concern.
