My fellow Floridian and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz sure has a knack for undercutting her own arguments. Last week, she published an op-ed saying Democrats could be trusted to fight for women’s priorities. I was preparing to write a response, but then she did my job for me.
Last Wednesday, she tried to attack Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who has a strong record of balancing budgets, fixing schools, and getting people back to work. But instead of making any sort of reasonable argument on the issues, she said this, “Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand.” She accused him of “grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back.”
