Democrats continue to demonize and vilify Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. You’d never know it listening to Democrats, or their accomplices in the legacy media, but DHS and ICE regularly remove the “worst of the worst” illegal immigrants in the United States, including murderers, thieves, rapists, drug traffickers, child predators, and others who endanger innocent people. Moreover, the regular abuse and left-wing vitriol these officials have endured have resulted in assassination attempts, violent attacks, and an 8,000% increase in death threats against ICE officers.
Nevertheless, DHS and ICE have persisted. They have continued to do their jobs even after they’ve been sabotaged and betrayed by Democrats. And while, at this point, it’s evident that Democrats prefer the violent, criminal illegal immigrants endangering communities over the law enforcement officers protecting innocent people, DHS and ICE officers have continued to protect and serve communities.
Consider the criminal records of the illegal immigrants ICE arrested on Monday.
While Democrats called for ICE agents to be unmasked, they arrested Candido Hernandez, an illegal immigrant originally from the Dominican Republic. Hernandez was previously convicted of manslaughter in New York City, according to ICE records. Yet, a quick Google search will not reveal any stories about him or his violent crimes. Furthermore, based on the actions just last week of Democratic politicians, such as Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL), who issued warnings on social media of known ICE presences, it’s clear that if they had their druthers, Hernandez would still roam freely on the streets.
ICE also reportedly arrested Pedro Joaquin Ovando, an illegal immigrant with a violent criminal past. This “worst of the worst” candidate apprehended by ICE was previously convicted of “sex abuse of a minor in Baltimore County, Maryland,” according to ICE. Again, there has been no mention of Ovando’s crimes or arrest from Democrats or legacy media. Yet, ICE removed this violent criminal, making the community safer.
An arsonist was also arrested by ICE yesterday. While Democrats warned communities about the presence of law enforcement officers, ICE was out protecting them from Freddy German Padilla-Riera, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. Padilla-Riera was previously convicted of arson in Bexar County, Texas, according to a release.
Yesterday, ICE also arrested two other scourges on society. Andrew Brown, an illegal immigrant from Jamaica previously convicted of three crimes, including “cocaine smuggling, habitual felon, and conceal/fail to report death,” and Jebah Doe, an illegal immigrant from Liberia whose rap sheet included crimes in Minnesota, receiving stolen property, and the possession of “ammo/any firearm” and first-degree aggravated robbery, were arrested.
These are the kinds of criminal illegal immigrants that ICE is protecting U.S. residents from. These are the kinds of criminal illegal immigrants that Democrats believe should be warned when ICE is approaching. They’re the kind of criminals Democrats want roaming freely in cities nationwide.
From holding the country hostage with the government shutdown to sabotaging law enforcement efforts to apprehend criminal illegal immigrants, Democrats have shown they are disastrous for the country. Their political ambitions and platforms frequently harm Americans.
DHS DELIVERS MUCH-NEEDED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION RECKONING
“[Thirty five] days into the Democrats’ government shutdown, ICE law enforcement continues to arrest the worst of the worst. Yesterday, ICE arrested pedophiles, murderers, and arsonists,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Washington Examiner. “Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, nothing will slow ICE down from removing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our communities.”
Whereas President Donald Trump campaigned on making America great again, Democrats have shown they will do whatever it takes to make America worse again, including prioritizing violent, criminal illegal immigrants over the safety of law-abiding U.S. residents.
