In recent weeks, London has seen a drone scare near the Israeli embassy, four Hatzola ambulances torched in Golders Green adjacent to a synagogue, an attempted arson attack on Finchley Reform Synagogue, another attempted firebombing at the former Hendon site of Jewish Futures, and now an attempted arson attack on Kenton United Synagogue.

British counterterror police are investigating links to Iran. Are they now? What difference will it make? Another day-after police yellow tape and flashing lights? More piously intoned words of (feigned) concern? Even with the arrests of perpetrators, the attacks won’t stop, and why should they?
