Throughout school, I was taught to revere our Constitution and that the United States is an exceptional nation. The Constitution’s preamble alone was revolutionary for the 18th century and established the U.S. as the torchbearer of the free world. But somewhere along the way, tens of thousands failed their civics classes and came to despise the U.S.

Plagued by an anti-American sentiment and corrupt ideas, they now believe the best course of action is to overthrow the Constitution in the name of their self-righteous hubris. Rightfully, these socialists and other extremists were formerly persona non grata in political circles, but now that socialism has rooted its pathogenic ideas into enough of the public’s mind, prominent voices are calling for the destruction of the Constitution.
