This is the age group that voted overwhelmingly against Scottish independence

The people of Scotland voted Thursday to reject a measure that would’ve seen the country break off from the United Kingdom and become an independent nation.

Final results showed Friday that 55 percent of the nation voted “no” to Scottish independence, while only 45 percent voted “yes.”

The obvious takeaway from Scotland’s failed bid for independence is that old people ruin everything.

The above data was collected by Lord Ashcroft Polls. The Ashcroft survey was conducted Sept. 18-19, 2014, and polled 2,047 Scottish voters.
