What: Ryan announced this week that he would not run for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. Were he to have become senator, it would have set Ryan up better for a potential White House bid in 2016, but remaining as House Budget Committee chairman allows him to push solutions for America’s debt crisis. He deserves kudos for putting the nation’s business ahead of political ambition.
