RNC roasts DNC unity tour in new video

The Republican National Committee is pouncing on its Democratic counterpart’s failed unity tour with a stinging new video released Monday.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., spent last week on an eight-state swing around the country in an attempt to unite the party that ended up backfiring. Though the tour lasted only six days, Democrats managed to pack in plenty of blunders on their way from Maine to Nevada.

From Sanders’ refusal to identify as a Democrat, to Perez earning boos at multiple stops, to the inter-party conflict over pro-life mayoral candidate Heath Mello’s inclusion on the tour, the RNC’s video strings together all the laughable lowlights into one blistering compilation.

“After a week of booing, arguing, and finger-pointing, Democrats finished off their nationwide tour more divided than ever,” RNC spokesman Michael Ahrens told the Washington Examiner in a statement on Monday. “All it accomplished was to highlight the current state of Democrat Party: an unmitigated disaster.”
