We’re lucky that Trump supporters are looking for justice and not revenge

Democrats and liberals in the media are putting on a desperately obvious front right now, pretending that they were ready to accept the results of the election regardless of the outcome. They pretend to be astounded that Republican voters dare show any irritation at all that the White House has been taken from them.

Right, and the boarded-up stores and restaurants in exclusively liberal cities were because a bunch of Trump supporters might show up and riot.

They’re fakers and liars.

It’s more than OK for President Trump’s supporters to be mad at this moment. After what they’ve seen over the past four years from the opposition party (which includes the media), they’re right to be.

I’m certain that in their hearts, Trump voters know that this is the end of their champion’s presidency, even as they hold on to the very end, and even then, claim that they were robbed. It’s not as if Democrats don’t do the same thing. That’s why that one woman with the glasses became a meme, wailing out, “Nooooo!” as Trump was sworn into office.

Democrats became known as “the resistance.” They donned “p—- hats,” and they believe to this very day that Trump only won the 2016 election because his campaign colluded with Russia.

It’s all stupid, and yet nobody in the media blames them for their heartburn. So, then, why should the press look down on Trump’s supporters for their own form of resistance?

Republicans are slow-walking the election, and they’re claiming fraud. Why wouldn’t they after they’ve been wrongfully accused of being racist, xenophobic, misogynistic bigots for the last five years? Why wouldn’t they after Democrats spent the last four years trying to undo the 2016 election with an endless series of investigations? They hoped to make the Russia case true, they hoped to make the president’s tax returns a thing, and they hoped against hope that someone, somewhere, would give a damn about Ukraine.

This is what Democrats and liberals in the media are capable of, and it’s vicious.

Now, Trump supporters, who have done nothing so far but ask that voter fraud be investigated, are supposedly the ones contributing to a crumbling democracy. The madness is compounded by the media refusing to acknowledge that even one ballot may have been invalid, a scenario for which there are mountains of proof.

Yeah, Trump supporters are angry, and rightfully so. In the end, to paraphrase one Black Lives Matter leader, we’re lucky that Trump supporters are looking for justice and not revenge.
