Remember when Sheriff David Clarke compared Obama's policing policies to Hitler?

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke once implored his Twitter followers to “Wake up!” after comparing President Obama’s local policing policies to those of Adolf Hitler. Now, he’s set to work as a liaison between the federal government and local law enforcement.

Clarke said on Wednesday that he had accepted an appointment to serve in President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security as an assistant secretary. The sheriff will reportedly work in the DHS Office of Partnership and Engagement as a liaison with state and local law enforcement.
