Donald Trump lost his lead in Iowa weeks ago. His New Hampshire lead was supposed to follow. It hasn’t.
Trump is clearly connecting with voters on a serious level. Questions of his base’s turnout and his campaign’s organization persist — as does the threat of a collapse if he does poorly in Iowa. But for now, this is still a race about Donald Trump.
