Defending President Obama’s foreign policy is driving the Left crazy as the failures keep piling up.
The latest victim is CNN contributor and Daily Beast columnist Sally Kohn, who tweeted this on Wednesday morning:
Do Republicans understand that when wars end, prisoners go home?!???

Yes. When wars end, there’s generally an exchange of prisoners as part of a peace settlement. There’s just one problem: The war in Afghanistan isn’t over. Like many others on the Left, Kohn is mistaking Obama’s word for reality.
Since May 31, when the U.S. exchanged five senior Taliban leaders for captured Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, eight U.S. soldiers have died, seven of them in combat.
I’m sure their families wouldn’t agree the war is over yet – and neither will the Afghans who likely will have to keep fighting after Obama decides it’s time for the U.S. to leave.
