What: Called Rush Limbaugh “the de facto leader” of the GOP, then said “there’s no similarity” between the talk radio star’s insult to Sandra Fluke and lefty comedian Bill Maher’s vulgar descriptions of Gov. Sarah Palin.
Why it’s dim: No, Bill, Rush is no more the GOP leader than Maher is the top Democrat. And insulting vulgarities are never appropriate in the public square.
Cure: Maybe it’s time for a special Double Dim Bulb award.
