Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, an ardent supporter of Barack Obama who said she “cried [her] eyelashes off” during his speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, is balking at allowing Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on her show. But Matt Drudge reported that Winfrey’s staff is divided, fearing a voter backlash if the GOP’s first female veep candidate is not allowed to appear on the popular daytime show.
