While Judge Brett Kavanaugh is being grilled in the national spotlight for everything from abusing alcohol to farting to sexual assault, another Democratic politician is somehow being let off the hook for comparable allegations: Rep. Keith Ellison, who is running for Minnesota attorney general.

Ellison’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Monahan, has claimed Ellison subjected her to emotional abuse and occasionally became physically abusive. He has denied these claims, but they aren’t going away.
