On Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, we don’t have to be victims

On Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, we don’t have to be victims — Rep. Friday is supposedly Black Women’s Equal Pay Day. But I’m a black woman and I don’t buy into it. Neither should you.

Black Women’s Equal Pay Day is a symbolic holiday meant to represent the day in 2019 when black women’s earnings catch up what white men earned by the end of 2018.
