WHAT: Awarded around $90,000 ARRA funds to Georgia State University for a study researching inequality and fairness in the primate family, and another researching cooperation among chimpanzees and humans.

WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: The study did not create jobs, but according to Science Nation, the research discovered that human “language skills set us apart from our primate cousins.”
