Rep. Mia Love, R-Utah, currently has a 100 percent conservative rating with Heritage Action.
Love received quite a backlash last week after she voted to keep Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio, as speaker of the House. But in the first vote scored by any major conservative organization, Love voted properly.
Heritage Action (full disclosure: My former employer) scored the Keystone XL Pipeline Act on Friday, urging members of Congress to vote in favor of construction. Love voted for the pipeline.
To be fair, the 28 Democrats who also voted in favor of the bill also have a 100 percent conservative rating with the organization, further emphasizing that conservatives should not base support of a member of Congress on just one vote.
Neither Freedomworks nor Club for Growth scored the pipeline vote.
