Does Hunter Biden hate his father?
It’s kind of hard to come to any other conclusion as he embarked this week on a book tour to promote his new memoir, Beautiful Things, reprising humiliating details about his crack cocaine addiction and every other seedy detail about his unseemly life.
“Yeah, I spent more time on my hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that even closely — even remotely resembled crack cocaine,” Biden told CBS’s Tracy Smith in an interview that aired Sunday. “I probably smoked more Parmesan cheese than anyone that you know, I’m sure, Tracy.”
Those remarks from the son of a sitting president, who campaigned on “restoring the soul of America,” read like something Larry Flynt would have written as a parody for his smut magazine.
Except it’s real life. And it’s not as if Biden is recalling a memory from the distant past that we can all laugh about after he turned his life around. He’s 51 years old, and it was just this past fall that what looked like relatively recent and very embarrassing photos of Biden surfaced along with a lot of other very cringe-inducing information about his personal life.
These are normally things that a person would want everyone to forget, but Biden is dead set on ensuring that we all remember, again and again.
President Joe Biden has got to be horrified by his son. And if he’s not, he should be.
