One step closer: GOP senator says he won’t flake on Brett Kavanaugh vote — Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee speaks with reporters about meeting with Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, June 13, 2018. The meeting with Freeland comes after President Donald Trump insulted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the Group of Seven summit, calling him "dishonest" and "weak," after the prime minister spoke against American tariffs on steel and aluminum. | (AP Photo/J.
