Comedian Jon Stewart highlighted the faulty ignition switches in General Motors vehicles on “The Daily Show” Wednesday night, blasting the company for failing to fix the problems that led to the deaths of at least 13 people.
Stewart devoted two segments to the situation, noting that even though GM hired a lawyer to investigate the details of the problem, they would not be liable for the deaths after declaring bankruptcy in 2009.
