Why are Democrats cozy with the Clintons?

It’s not surprising that many Democrats running for major offices this year would prefer not to sidle up to a president who has a record of raising taxes, pushing a federal healthcare overhaul, embracing action against climate change, talking about divisive racial issues and cutting defense spending. But they have asked him to campaign for them anyway.
