Thankfully, 2016 is about to come to an end, taking with it the presidential election cycle that took nearly two years of our lives we can never get back. Lucky for us, those two years gave us quite a list of spectacular communication fails. Or, as I like to say as a media trainer, “job security.”

For kicks and giggles, I’ve compiled a list of the 10 worst communication fails of this presidential election. But also, ’tis the season to fantasize about what we’ll resolve to do in the new year. Keep in mind the following examples fall into the “what not to do” category.
