WHAT: His decision not to maintain an actual residence in the state he represents has finally caught up with him. Thanks to Democratic dirty tricks in Marion County, which contains Indianapolis, Lugar has now been ruled ineligible to vote in Indiana, even as he faces a stiff primary challenge from conservative State Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
WHY IT’S DIM: This could cost Lugar re-election.
