It’s official: No man at Fox News can open his mouth. Everything that comes out of it can, and will, be used against him. Not in a court of law, but in the court of public opinion.
That’s the takeaway from the utterly insane accusation that Jesse Watters’ comment about Ivanka Trump carried “lewd overtones.” If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look. He was clearly referring to the unique sound of Ivanka’s voice, which was clear to me even before I read his explanation: “During the break we were commenting on Ivanka’s voice and how it was low and steady and resonates like a smooth jazz radio DJ,” the anchor said in a statement. “This was in no way a joke about anything else.”

Anyone who sees perversity in that clip is the perverse one. Ivanka Trump should come to Watters’ defense.
Although I’m actually glad for the accusation. Not for Watters’ sake, obviously, but because it proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Fox News is embroiled in a feminist witch hunt.
Most Americans are keenly aware of left-wing media bias, but feminist bias is not typically recognized as a significant arm of media bias. It should be, for the power feminists wield in this arena is huge. And in order to fight back, it is vital to understand how the enemy thinks and what it wants.
As I write about extensively in “The Flipside of Feminism,” the feminist elite believe two things: that men are prone to oppress women, and that success is beyond women’s grasp because institutional sexism holds them down. When a woman has achieved success as a wife and mother, as well as in a high-profile career, feminists feel threatened since more often than not, these women tend to be more conservative in nature. What do you think the attack on Ivanka Trump is about?
Feminists consider it their moral obligation to shield women, who they believe are too fragile to manage on their own, from these societal transgressions. If feminists even smell something that will appear sexist if they spin it well, they’re on it faster than a toupee in a hurricane.
The feminist elite aren’t new, but the election of President Trump brought them to the forefront of American politics. Rather than remain stealthy in their goals, feminists have now become unhinged, as this latest stunt with Watters proves. Their negative view of men and society fails to resonate with the majority of Americans—most people don’t consider themselves feminists—yet this group continues to use its perch to advance their anti-male, anti-American agenda.
And at the moment, it’s taking down the men of Fox News.
