Clay Aiken, who lost badly in his congressional race last year against incumbent Rep. Renee Ellmers, R-N.C., had some harsh words for the congresswoman, calling her “an idiot” and “a bitch” in a radio interview.
Aiken made the comments to shock jock Howard Stern on SiriusXM radio while discussing his upcoming realty TV show chronicling his campaign. The four-hour docu-series, called “The Runner-Up,” will air on Esquire Network this month.
“You should see the second episode, because she’s a bitch,” Aiken told Stern about Ellmers.
“She’s an idiot,” Aiken added. “And I think her self-esteem is just in the floor, under the floor.”
Aiken also said he was “not a fan” of Ellmers and called her another name, which The Hill described as “a derogatory slang term for the female anatomy.”
Aiken also told Stern he might run again — in six years.
“Probably before six years,” Aiken said. “You know, within the next decade I will again.”
Talk about a war on women.
