President Trump’s reelection was sealed Tuesday night when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stood up and ripped apart the transcript of his State of the Union address.
That was the third and final nail in the coffin for Democrats.
Before that moment, people were still reeling from a Super Bowl halftime show reminiscent of a strip show, which forced some parents to explain to their kids how far our culture has fallen. They had to tell their daughters in particular that, no, a woman’s sexuality is not the sum of her worth. Women with class don’t use stripper poles, nor do they call attention to their genitals to be heard and validated. That’s not what empowerment looks like, no matter how many times Hollywood tries to convince you otherwise.
But before Pelosi had a temper tantrum and Jennifer Lopez climbed a pole as tens of millions of people watched on TV, Democrats had already begun to pull away from their party because of its support for the irrational idea that humans can change their sex.
It’s simply too big of a leap to go from LGB to T. Indeed, many gays (most of whom vote for Democrats) resent being lumped in with transgender people. Why wouldn’t they? Being attracted to the same sex is in an entirely different category from believing a person can turn oneself into something they’re not. The former is reality; the latter is not. It’s magical thinking, and many Democrats simply won’t go that far.
The push for socialism isn’t helping their case either, although there are enough naive millennials that socialist candidates could actually get some traction. But it’s the denial of sex reality, the degradation of our culture, and Pelosi’s petty antics that will ultimately cost Democrats the 2020 election.
Even liberals have their limits.
