Gov. Chris Christie revealed a bit of his softer side during a keynote address at the Passaic Vicinage’s drug court graduation in Paterson, N.J., on Wednesday.

The Republican governor reminded the crowd that everyone was only one unfortunate step away from disaster, which should encourage them to treat people with addictions with compassion.
