Bipartisan members of Congress, including Democratic congressman Ro Khanna (D-CA), urged Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address a joint session of Congress during his state visit this week. But not all Democrats were so welcoming of Modi, and many of them showed hypocrisy in how they voiced their objections.
