Hillary Clinton, enemy of womankind

Conservatives may loathe the policies and pandering of Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. But there’s no question that no matter how they ascended to the political elite, their successes didn’t come at the cost of the lives, safety, and dignity of other women.

The same cannot be said of Hillary Clinton, a true enemy to womankind.

The story of Hillary Clinton intimidating Juanita Broaddrick into silence after Bill Clinton allegedly raped her — an allegation with multiple contemporaneously corroborating witnesses, one of whom confirms Clinton left Broaddrick injured — has been a part of the public Clinton folklore for over two decades.

That Hillary simply ran interference for her philandering husband was always meant to justify her smears of Monica Lewinsky as a “narcissistic Loony Toon,” her flagrant dismissal of Gennifer Flowers, and her trailer trashing of Paula Jones. But women weren’t just collateral damage of Hillary’s totally authentic and pure love for Bill — oh no. As it turns out, she was willing to throw any woman under the bus for her own political expedience, regardless of her relationship to their alleged assailant.

In a feature previewing Ronan Farrow’s explosive new book, Catch and Kill, the reporter reveals a few more details about Harvey Weinstein’s attempt to shut down Farrow’s investigation into the producer’s serial sexual assaults. In addition to having Clinton’s publicist lean on Farrow, Weinstein dangled special access to Clinton before NBC as an inducement for the network to cut Farrow off. The Hollywood Reporter summarizes thus:

In summer 2017, while Farrow was trying to lock down an interview with Clinton for his foreign policy book — while also still working on the Weinstein story — he received a call from Clinton’s publicist, Nick Merrill, who told him that the “big story” Farrow was working on was a “concern for us.” Then, in September 2017, according to an email cited in the book, Weinstein wrote to Deborah Turness, the ex-president of NBC News who now runs NBC News International, to propose a docuseries on Clinton. “Your Hillary doc series sounds absolutely stunning,” Turness responded.

NBC ultimately got rid of Farrow, compromising actual investigative journalism and bending the knee to a producer of literal fiction. That is an outright scandal on its own, but Clinton’s own obeisance, shockingly enough, presents a new twist in her narrative of villainy nearly half a century into her public life: Hillary didn’t just harm women when it was absolutely necessary to save her husband. She was willing to do it for anyone with a modicum of power, and even after her own pursuit of the top office seemed finished.

Note that at this point Weinstein was already desperate. His threats were futile, so there’s no excuse for those who complied with his demands. Woody Allen — Farrow’s own estranged father and a fellow credibly accused of his own sexual predations — flatly refused to assist Weinstein in his pursuit to silence Farrow.

While we don’t have all the details thus far, what we know is this: In 2017, Hillary knew (hopefully) that she would never, ever be president. She, a millionaire celebrity beloved by our sycophantic media, had presumably nothing but extra plaudits and dinner party invitations from Weinstein, whose star was already on the wane. And yet, with a single ask, she got her publicist to attempt to silence Farrow’s story, which had nothing to do with the Clintons. Some months later, Hillary likely allowed Weinstein to use a documentary starring her as bait to cajole a news organization to shut down the most groundbreaking news story of the year.

Donald Trump may have grabbed women by the pussy, but Hillary all but held them down for her husband — and for Harvey Weinstein, as we now know. She’s an enemy to women. Regardless of who wins 2020, every woman in the country ought to thank God that she is not and will never be the first female president of the United States of America.
