President Joe Biden’s visit to El Paso was little more than a staged propaganda photo opportunity. The city, which has been inundated with illegal immigrants and tent camps for years, cleared up many of these camps to present an altered reality for Biden’s visit.
President Biden’s border visit today is to a sanitized version of El Paso.
He has no plans to enforce federal immigration laws.

But this is nothing new for Biden, who routinely manipulates the media to influence public opinion. Consider his efforts to force Ashraf Ghani, former president of Afghanistan, to lie so as to “change perception” of our nation’s troop withdrawal fiasco and generate more favorable headlines in the media. His visit to a Potemkin version of El Paso is just the latest example.
BIPARTISAN SENATORS EMBARK ON EXTENSIVE BORDER TRIP FOLLOWING BIDEN’S ‘SANITIZED’ STOP
Biden toured a path along the border wall and spoke with some border patrol agents. He briefly toured part of El Paso and did some photo ops. He stayed long enough just to claim that he made a visit and provided satisfactory optics to the country.
Additionally, Biden skipped many of the city’s worst areas and refused to meet with the media. His historic “visit to the border” was little more than a glorified layover before traveling to Mexico City to meet with other heads of state for the North American Leaders’ Summit. Yet, he still tweeted about the issues and promised things would improve and change.
“Our problems at the border didn’t arise overnight. And they won’t be solved overnight,” Biden tweeted. “But, we can come together to fix this broken system. We can secure the border and fix the immigration process to be orderly, fair, safe, and humane.”

Overnight? Biden is beginning his third year this month, and the illegal immigration crisis has plagued his administration since the beginning of his term. Yet, this is his first trip to the border. He named Vice President Kamala Harris border czar, but she has done nothing regarding security and has visited the border only once. Then, Harris falsely claimed that the border was secure. Even in an era featuring some of the worst left-wing/Democratic news censorship in our nation’s history, people know this isn’t true. The Biden administration is a house of optical illusions regarding illegal immigration and border control.
As soon as he took office, President Biden stopped enforcing America’s immigration laws, rolled back effective border policies, & offered the world a clear incentive to illegally enter the US. His overdue visit to the border is solely a poor attempt to score political points.

Biden and the Democrats don’t consider millions of illegal immigrants entering the country to be a problem. That’s why they reversed the effective border control policies of the Trump administration, a move that caused the current crisis. Furthermore, they do little to implement meaningful policy and have, on multiple occasions, claimed there were “more important issues.”
They know it’s a dire situation; they just don’t care.
