DEI Democrats have destroyed Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream

Today, we honor the accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a man who gave his life so that all people could be truly equal in this country. He fought for civil rights, but more importantly, he fought for the acceptance of the idea of judging everyone fairly and evaluating on their merit and the “content of their character” and not the “color of their skin.” It was a noble pursuit and worthwhile “dream” that warranted universal acceptance — but one that the DEI Democrats have sought to destroy.

King’s “I Have a Dream” speech forever changed the course of history. Amid the horrors of Jim Crow segregation, on the steps of a memorial honoring the president who gave his life to end slavery, King listed the grievances of racial inequality that had plagued the country. More importantly, he shared his visions of what he hoped for the future. King’s visions looked nothing like the society DEI Democrats have tried to create in the 21st century.
