Democrats are declaring war on the Supreme Court in anticipation of former President Donald Trump’s cases being ruled on and, potentially, Trump winning in November.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) was made the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee after Democrats pushed aside then Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for not being ruthless enough for their liking. Durbin has been heavily pushing to delegitimize the court based on non-scandals about the wives of Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, culminating in him shaming Chief Justice John Roberts for not agreeing to “establish an enforceable code of conduct.”
