The Democratic Party successfully cocooned Kamala Harris for 39 days since President Joe Biden coronated his vice president, giving the new presidential nominee more than five weeks to prepare her own answers to the inevitable inquiries about her radical record as the most left-wing member of the Senate, the inflation wrought by Bidenomics, and the growing list of complete policy reversals as a result of her newfound candidacy. But despite answering fewer than a dozen questions in the more than a month since becoming the ostensible future of the Democratic Party, Harris conjured nothing more than a feast of world salads during her first-ever interview as nominee with CNN’s Dana Bash. Or, that is to say, Harris said nothing of consequence at all.

Does Harris, who used to repeatedly assert that “an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal,” still believe that illegally entering or remaining in the country should not constitute a crime?
