Two of Bucks County’s three commissioners voted to count ineligible ballots against the advice of the board’s legal team after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court made it clear that those ballots were not to be counted. As Commissioner Diane Marseglia said, “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws anytime they want. So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”
