Not all heroes wear capes. However, in Dean Cain’s case, he once did, and the heroic trait of protecting others seems to come naturally to him. 

Known for his portrayal as the heroic Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Cain has been in the hero business since the 1990s. Following his run as the Metropolis Marvel, he donned a different uniform to protect people, becoming a reserve officer for the St. Anthony Police Department in Idaho in 2018. In 2025, he has decided to wear a different shield to once again protect innocent people from harm — the shield of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
