You may want to sit down for this one: Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton supports impeaching President Trump.
This would probably be bigger news were it not for the fact that she has spent the entirety of the Trump-era promoting anything and everything that could damage the White House, including election conspiracy theories and even gossip columnist Michael Wolff’s stupid “tell-all” book Fire and Fury.
“The president of the United States has betrayed our country,” Clinton (or her staff) tweeted from her official account Wednesday following the release of a transcript of a July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “That’s not a political statement — it’s a harsh reality, and we must act. He is a clear and present danger to the things that keep us strong and free. I support impeachment.”

However, before the transcript had even been released, Clinton had already said in an interview published Tuesday by People Magazine that she supported bringing articles of impeachment against Trump.
“I’m in favor of moving toward impeachment,” she said, adding, “I did not come to that decision easily or quickly, but this is an emergency as I see it.”
The former secretary of state said she came to this decision following reports that the president tried to pressure Zelensky into investigating Democratic front-runner Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, with withdrawal of military aid as the underlying threat.
In other words, Clinton came to the very difficult decision to support impeachment based on a “whistleblower’s” complaint no one outside of the White House and the Justice Department has seen and details of a phone call whose transcript was not made available until at least a day after she gave the interview.
Hard choices indeed.
Clinton has spent the last three years claiming a “fascist takeover” of the United States and peddling the lie that failed Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was the real winner of the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race. Clinton supports impeachment because she is still upset she lost, when in fact she has only herself to blame for taking victory for granted.
