Democrats downplay crime as they decline help from Trump

The clock to protect families is ticking, Council Member of Frederick County, Maryland, Mason Carter, told the Washington Examiner, adding that blue states must adopt a “stronger presence” of federal law enforcement and stop the downplay of crime. 

“[Complying with the Department of Homeland Security] is a great idea. It is appalling. It is in our best interest to protect our cities, our families, and our communities. A stronger presence of law enforcement is certainly needed,” Carter told the Washington Examiner.
