What’s in a royal baby name?
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had their first child on Monday, the internet erupted with speculation about the royal baby. The boy has not yet been named, and some are hoping that the young couple will pick something more interesting than typical royal names such as Albert, Edward, or Charles.
The Daily Express reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “could be leaning towards a royal baby name that pays tribute to both US and UK history.” So speculators across the pond came up with their own ideas about what sort of name could unite the cultures of British Prince Harry and the American Meghan Markle.
The couple definitely should not take any of these suggestions, but that doesn’t mean they’re not fun to read.

It’ll be a utter disgrace if Meghan & Harry don’t name the #RoyalBaby either:

°Tony
°Bruce
°ThorAfter all they’ve done for the world. #Endgame

From politics to geography to pop culture, Americans have their own ideas about what unites us with our allies across the pond. Prince Harry and Meghan, though, may take a more subtle approach when naming their first child.
