If you donated to the Canadian Freedom Convoy truckers, there’s a good chance you’ll be hunted down by the leftist media and doxxed.
The Washington Post, Reuters, and a number of other media outlets have been tracking down Freedom Convoy donors after a hacker exposed the identities of those who contributed to the protest’s GiveSendGo fundraiser. The Washington Post and Salt Lake Tribune have been contacting donors, some of whom gave only $40, to ask why they donated in the first place.
Here’s an email a donor received from the Washington Post:
The Washington Post is contacting people whose donation info was leaked and who gave as little as 40 dollars to the truckers to ask them why they did so

And here’s one a different donor received from the Salt Lake Tribune:
EXCLUSIVE: The Salt Lake Tribune is now using the GiveSendGo hacked data to reach out to donors who gave as little as $50. This is harassment. This is not journalism. pic.twitter.com/wbeN193eDJ

The message being sent is clear: We know what you did, who you are, and how to contact you. Because we disagree with the protest you donated to, we will expose you.
These journalists are behaving no differently from the hackers who exposed GiveSendGo’s data in the first place. This was private information, and leftist media outlets are sharing and using it freely, knowing full well that doing so places a target on the backs of ordinary citizens.
Is it any wonder that so many voters believe the media are the enemy of the people?
