National Security Advisor Susan Rice panned Senate Republicans’ suggestions that President Obama deploy a U.S. special forces team to rescue the Nigerian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram, saying that additional support would likely be “advisory” in nature.
Rice laughed in response to a question about Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who said that he would send in a U.S. team with or without the permission of the Nigerian government.
