It is well known that the Left controls the spheres of influence in this country, and in doing so, maintains a vice-like grip on the nation’s culture. Through television programming, music lyrics, popular streaming series, or the silver screen, contemporary entertainment is rife with left-wing sociocultural messaging and propaganda. Whether it’s agenda-driven casting choices in the summer blockbuster The Odyssey (or oDEIssey, as I called it) or characters in Ted Lasso making regular snide anti-Trump remarks, conservative Republican values do not have any meaningful presence in most entertainment products today. This absence has come at a political cost.

An adage suggests, “Let me write the songs of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws.” It’s a powerful statement that highlights the importance of a society’s culture and the enormous influence it has on its laws. The saying is attributed to Andrew Fletcher, a famous Scottish writer and politician in the early 18th century. And despite being said over 300 years ago in 1703, it is perfectly applicable to the United States society in 2026.
