Deval Patrick, perhaps former President Barack Obama’s closest friend in the massive 2020 Democratic field, announced he would not run for president. In the same week, porn lawyer Michael Avenatti became the last person in America to realize he wasn’t going to be the Democratic nominee for president.
This week, the two old, retread white guys climb back to the top of the Power Rankings. Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden dominated in the latest poll, and erstwhile list-topper Amy Klobuchar has shown nothing compelling in her early campaigning.
