Dancing with the Stars recently joined in on the drag queen madness. The once family-friendly show selected a drag queen to be one of its contestants this season. It’s the latest display of the Walt Disney Company embracing left-wing cultural issues. The show airs on the streaming service Disney+. Previously, it aired on ABC, which Disney also owns.
Darius Jeremy Pierce, who goes by the drag queen name Shangela Laquifa Wadley, is the first drag queen ever on the dance competition show. And honestly, it’s not something that should be celebrated.
Drag queen acts are part of a weird subculture in the realm of adult entertainment. They are not for children. Trying to normalize this behavior, the way Disney is with the casting of Pierce, is nothing more than another indoctrination attempt by the House of Mouse.
Imagine, as the family gathers around the television to watch the show, why a contestant who dresses as a male during the practice and rehearsals during the week dresses up as a ridiculously flamboyant caricature of a woman during the actual competition.
Pierce was selected for the show with a hidden agenda in mind. Disney felt promoting a drag queen on its show would help normalize this outlandish nonsense.
Essentially, Disney executives were trying to show how enlightened and compassionate they were. To their credit, their cast this season does include Daniel Durant, a deaf actor known from the movie Coda, and Selma Blair, who has multiple sclerosis. Their inclusion should be applauded. It’s another thing to include a contestant who promotes a perverted, deviant form of entertainment that should be reserved for adults only.
The powers at Disney believe that the more people get exposed to this type of thing, the more tolerant and acceptable they will be to men who want to dress up and act as women. It is disturbing and indicative of the moral decay encompassing human civilization this decade. Men are not women. People will do this sort of thing — it’s a free country — but there shouldn’t be any attempt to normalize such disturbing behavior.
We need a return to normal values in the country and, quite frankly, the world.
