Shamima Begum is solely responsible for the death of her baby

When Shamima Begum was 15, she fled one of the freest nations on Earth to travel to Syria where she joined one of the most notorious international terrorist organizations in modern history. She married a convicted terrorist and had three of his babies. All three of them have now died.

The media call her an “ISIS bride,” and the British Left has lambasted Home Secretary Sajid Javid for stripping Begum of her United Kingdom citizenship after she gave an interview to the Times in which she asked to return to the country she abandoned four years ago. Begum’s defense relies on pure, unadulterated toxic femininity. Don’t buy it. She is the sole author of her own tragedy.

Begum may have been a minor when she traded democracy for domestic servitude, but she hasn’t been one for years. For years, the U.K. government promised Begum she wouldn’t face terrorism charges if she returned. She did not.

Begum may bat her eyes and claim ignorance, but she knew exactly what she signed up for. By the time Begum had abandoned the U.K., conservatives across the pond had already spent well over a year dunking on President Obama for referring to ISIS as the “J.V. team” of terrorism. The theocracy’s obsession with death and eschatology was international fact, and the young lady from Bethnal Green damn well knew it. She doesn’t regret joining ISIS, perhaps just all the babies she’s inadvertently killed. We know she’s unrepentant because she’s told us so.

In an interview with Sky News, Begum reiterated her previous claim that she didn’t regret joining the wannabee caliphate.

Was there a point when you started to have second thoughts about your life under Islamic State?
Only at the end, after my son died. I realised I had to get out for the sake of my children — for the sake of my daughter and my baby. Yeah.
Only at the end?
Yeah.
You didn’t have any regrets up until that point?
No.

Did you know what Islamic State were doing when you left for Syria? Because they had beheaded people. There were executions.
Yeah, I knew about those things and I was okay with it. Because, you know, I started becoming religious just before I left.
From what I heard, Islamically that is all allowed. So I was okay with it.
You didn’t question that?
No, not at all.

Begum currently resides in a refugee camp, an oppressor simmering among those thousands whom she and her death cult oppressed, persecuted, and murdered. She issues not one iota of genuine compunction. She cannot even tell a single opportunistic lie. Yet members of the British media still think she deserves reentry into one of the greatest countries in the world. It’s international Stockholm syndrome with a shot of idiocy.

For what it’s worth, Javid doesn’t just appear to be in the moral high ground, but the legal one as well. British law currently allows the government to deprive someone of citizenship if it’s “conducive to the public good because the person, while having that citizenship status, has conducted himself or herself in a manner which is seriously prejudicial to the vital interests of the United Kingdom” and if the government has “reasonable grounds for believing that the person is able, under the law of a country or territory outside the United Kingdom, to become a national of such a country or territory.”

Joining an apocalyptic pseudo-caliphate with the sole goal of enacting worldwide domination and genocide certainly checks off the first box. While Western masochists have argued that she has no other nation to turn to, claiming that Begum will certainly wind up stateless in violation of international law, the United Kingdom has ample evidence that she is able to become a citizen of Bangladesh, from where her mother hails. The British government has expatriated those who’ve flocked to ISIS before, and only if they do so again can they suture the bleeding of batty Brits.

Begum may play the victim all she wants, but she’s nothing more than a slaver and a murderer. Even she cannot categorically deny taking part in the number of crimes — including enforcing the sexual slavery and torture of Yazidi women — regularly committed by ISIS brides. Instead she simply says her haters have “no evidence” she committed any crimes.

It’s a tragedy Begum did not take up the U.K.’s offer of amnesty while she still could. It’s even more tragic that she left to join ISIS in the first place. And it’s also quite a pity that ISIS didn’t stay “nice” like she says it was “at first, like in the videos.” Sure, if the U.K. had more time, they could’ve forcefully obtained Begum’s last baby, but even she said she wouldn’t relinquish him. Now her baby’s dead, and I see no reason why she should be the U.K.’s problem anymore.
