There is an emotionally deranged man in Pennsylvania’s state House. Someone ought to tell the speaker.
Supposed feminist ally and Democratic Pennsylvania state Rep. Brian Sims is making a name for himself this week with a series of videos he produced showing him berating and threatening teenage and adult pro-life women who were, to all appearances, quietly praying outside an abortion clinic.
Sims filmed himself last week stalking an elderly woman as she prayed outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeastern Pennsylvania. “Today’s protester, now she is an old white lady who is going to try to avoid showing you her face,” the Democratic lawmaker told a Facebook Live audience. “And so my hope is that you’ll donate $100 for every extra hour that this woman is out here telling people what is right for their bodies.”
He then directed his comments at the woman, saying, “Shame on you! Shame! Shame! There’s no faith that tells you [that] you are right and everybody else is wrong. Don’t convince yourself that what you are doing isn’t extremely racist!”
Sims then said to his social media audience, “Let’s go protest out in front of her house and tell her what’s right for her body. This is a racist act of judgment.”
Push back against Planned Parenthood protestors, PLEASE! They prey on young women, they use white privilege, & shame. They’re racist, classist, bigots who NEED & DESERVE our righteous opposition. Push back, please! #YouAreStrongEnough https://t.co/rYQOiAhC0D

In a separate video filmed three weeks ago, the Democratic state representative recorded himself accosting three young women who were also praying outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeastern Pennsylvania.
“What we’ve got here is a bunch of … pseudo-Christian protesters who’ve been out here shaming young girls for being here,” Sims says in the video. “So, here’s the deal, I’ve got $100 to anybody who will identify these three, and I will donate to Planned Parenthood.”
The video shows the women wisely stepping away from their harasser. Sims then focuses his attention on an elderly pro-life man, saying, “What makes you think it’s your job to tell women what to do with their bodies.”
He adds, “The truth is I’m not really asking because I don’t care. Shame on you!”
Sims’ first video showing him harassing an elderly pro-life woman is still available for viewing on Twitter, despite being an apparent violation of the social media site’s terms of services. The second video showing him offering cash in return for the identities of teenage pro-lifers is still available for viewing on Facebook, despite it also appearing to be a violation of that company’s terms of service.
Pennsylvania’s House speaker, Rep. Michael Coyne Turzai, R-Pa., did not respond to the Washington Examiner‘s request for comment. Sims has since gone on Twitter to defend himself from critics of his stalker video series.
“Bring it, Bible Bullies! You are bigots, sexists, and misogynists and I see right through your fake morals and your broken values,” he said on May 5.
Earlier, on May 2, he said, “Planned Parenthood protesters are scum! I’ve spent years as a patient escort witnessing firsthand the hate, vitriol, hostility and BLATANT RACISM they spew. You can ‘pray for a baby at home.’ You sure as hell can feed a kid or clothe one instead. Old, fake, White, wrong!”
This is called: “Trying too hard.” Remember the rule, folks: The amount of energy a man puts into telling you he is a male feminist is directly proportional to the likelihood he is an abusive creep. Most of them don’t do us the favor of proving it on tape and broadcasting it to the world.
